Baby and the Breast

As a name for my practice, “Baby and the Breast” made me think of the classic fable of “Beauty and the Beast”.  Like that story, the breastfeeding relationship has a beautiful, brilliant and magical side, as well as a scary and intimidating side when things don’t go so well! One of my greatest joys as a practicing Lactation Consultant is to provide moms with the knowledge and support they need to feel confident and fearless about feeding their babies, free to experience the beautiful bond, the conversation, and the dance of the breastfeeding relationship between mother and baby.
